Johnny Was Late For School.

Little Johnny was late for school.

The teacher asked him why, and Little Johnny explained it was because he met a man who had lost his wallet on the street.

“Ah,” nodded the teacher, “you were helping him find it!”

“Um, not really,” said Johnny, “but I had to keep standing on it until he would give up and go away.”

The teacher asks little Johnny if he knows his numbers.

“Yes,” he said. “My father taught me.”

“Can you tell me what comes after three?”

“Four,” the little Johnny replies.

“What comes after six?”

“Seven,” replies little Johnny.

“Very good,” said the teacher. “Your father did a very good job. What comes after ten? ”
